Beside bags, belts and jewelry Nicole Richie will add a line of around 20 shoe styles to her House of Harlow 1960 label for spring of 2010.
Nicole's business partner, Rick Cytrynbaum, said:
"Nicole is designing everything herself. She’s totally devoted to this, and we’re creating a whole lifestyle around her aesthetic and what is true to her."
The photos below are a first look at Nicole's shoe line.
The Simple Life starlet marked her first foray into the fashion world with the hugely successful House of Harlow 1960 jewellery collection, and now she's expanded into a complete ready-to-wear range for 2010.
The clothing, which will be available exclusively to buy through my-wardrobe.com, naturally takes inspiration from Nic's ever-popular hippie-luxe fashion sense, and is named after her daughter's two middle names.
And featuring floaty maxi dresses, delicate chiffon and lace jackets, and tunic tops awash with ethnic-style prints, it's bound to be an instant sell-out.
But forget the clothing for a minute, it's the seriously fab footwear that's got us most excited.
The super-stylish collection of embroidered heels, cut-out booties, wedges, moccasins and sandals is set for release in January, and we can't wait to get our well-manicured tootsies into a pair.
‘Fashion should be accessible,' says Nicole. ‘That was my philosophy when designing House of Harlow 1960, and it remains my philosophy for Winter Kate.'
‘I started working on this collection in early 2009,' she continues. ‘The pieces can be dressed up, made casual, but most importantly, they provide the wearer a means of self-expression and fun.'
I love them and I can't wait to get my hands on a pair!
What are your thoughts on Nicole's shoes?

I Love the first pair of shoes. The second pair is okay, but I would prefer them plain. I think I will look at her moccasins and boots. Maybe I will buy a pair of heels.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have both styles! You can see Nicole's aesthetic in the styles... cant wait to see more!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see MOCCASINS! :D
ReplyDeleteim sorry but i really dnt like either of them thy look no offence but cheap! Bit dissapointed with shoe collection maybe clothes will be better :)
ReplyDeleteI like the first pair in black and the last one in nude with turquoise.
ReplyDeleteBut they are a bit to high for me...I´m not a fan of this super-high heals. It´s not compfortabel to walk in!
I´m excited for the rest of the shoes too!
the HIGH heels are super comfy when they have a platform on the front.
ReplyDeletei am so impressed. I love both the styles. i like how the second pair is super high but the heel is slightly thick to insure they are super sturdy.
ReplyDeletemuch much better than i expected, she is really thinking about her designs without creating thousands of mediocre pair. if they are not too expensive i would definitely buy them.
lovelovelove,!!! BAHAHAHA*** specielly the tops
ReplyDeleteI love, love, LOVE the second pair of shoes!! the pumps with the stitched heels are gorge!!
ReplyDeleteto be honest, i don't like those heels..
