Nicole and Joel open Beyond Shelter playground

Nicole Richie and her boyfriend Joel Madden help celebrate the ribbon cutting ceremony for Beyond Shelter Playground on behalf of The Richie-Madden Foundation on Thursday, October 22, in Los Angeles.
This new playground gives the children of homeless families a green space to play in a safe and protected environment.
After the event Nicole tweeted:
"“THANK YOU to everyone who participated in the Text CHILD campaign. We are giving these children a chance to have an imagination & be free."
For her outfit she opted for a basic black tank top under a loose blouse, a pair of jeans and Modern Vintage "Fabrizia" braided flat sandals.

    nicole gained weight.she looks so amazing! love her new look...without extensions ...she really looks like a happy mom!

    I like her a little thinner. I just gained some weight and I look exactly like this. I am going to lose 10 pounds now.

    Nah.. 110 at 5 foot 2 is perfectly healthy.
