Nicole celebrates Lucky magazine cover

Nicole Richie attended the celebration of her Lucky magazine’s cover at Soho House in West Hollywood on Monday night, January 10.
Nicole partied with her husband Joel Madden, her brother-in-law Benji and friends like Ginnifer Goodwin and Zooey Deschanel.
Before stepping out, she tweeted:
"I’m so excited! My Lucky magazine cover issue goes on sale tomorrow. Launch party tonight! What to wear… what to wear….?"
Nicole wore a purple velvet dress by Emilio Pucci.
She accessorized with a vintage Chanel bag and House of Harlow 1960 "Nell" open-toe pumps.
I love this refreshing look!

Nicole Richie's styles

In her interview for the February issue of Lucky magazine Nicole Richie said:
"To me, fashion is about fun. I’ve always experimented. I dyed my hair purple, and I dyed my hair green, and I went through a Punky Brewster phase, a preppy phase, a goth phase, a girly phase, a grunge phase…I’m sure my style won’t stop here."
I tried to illustrate these phases so, let's take a look at the fashion icon's styles over the years.
Goth-inspired - all black, edgy accessories

Punky Brewster (an American sitcom about a girl named Punky Brewster) - pigtails, colourful clothing

Grunge - slouchy shirts, ripped denim

Preppy - button down shirt, pearls, blazers

Girly - feminine dresses, floral prints, pink
