Nicole and Joel out lunching

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden were spotted grabbing up lunch in Studio City, California on Monday afternoon, January 11.
Nicole and Joel both took to their Twitter accounts to send along birthday wishes to their daughter Harlow who turned two years old yesterday. Nicole tweeted:
"Up super early sneaking around the house in the dark setting up surprises for when my birthday girl wakes up!"
She later posted:
"Harlow & Mary J. Blige are having a joint birthday party tonight. I wasn't invited. But I heard it's gonna be POPPIN"!!"
Joel twitted:
"Happy Birthday to the most beautiful little girl in the world. Harlow makes me proud every. single. Day. i’m blessed."
Miss Richie sported a new pair of jeans - Jet's grey splat moto skinnys, a plain white tee and her Lanvin flats.
To complete the look she added a bold red scarf.

Of course, she sported her trusty Balenciaga "City" bag.
