Plane-ly dressed Nicole

After meeting up with her boyfriend Joel Madden in New York City, a "plane-ly" dressed Nicole makes her way through Hollywood Tuesday afternoon. She is carrying her yellow Balenciaga bag.

    Plane is what you fly in, it's spelled "plain" and you can say "plainly" there is no need for a hyphen.

    It is a play on words, ie. the dress has an aeroplane print.
